Rooftop gardens are intensive green roofs that can “landscape a roof” and may turn it into accessible amenity space along with lush vegetation. This rooflite soil system has two versions depending on the depth of the system. Deeper rooftop gardens with a total depth of more than 18 inches have a modified system build up because just as in natural soil profiles, the deeper root zone has other properties as the top soil layer above. Rooftop gardens support luscious greenery with a wide variety of plants including shrubs & trees.
